WHM – Outgoing Email is Suspended

Problem:

A user has been suspended for sending out too many emails in WHM.

Solution:

  1. Terminal in (using the built in Terminal or SSH in)
  2. Type in sudo nano /etc/outgoing_mail_hold_users
  3. Remove the users from the list
  4. Save and exit
  5. In WHM, go to Mail Server (Exim) (under Restart Services), restart
