WHM – Deleting files in default backup location

Problem:

You’re out of space and need to clean up the backups (that’s the quick fix)

Solution:

  1. Putty (SSH) into your server
  2. Login as root
  3. Password should be manually entered
  4. Type in cd /backup
  5. Type in cd (oldest date folder)
  6. Type in cd accounts
  7. Started deleting (rm)
