OneDrive shows that it’s syncing at 0.0kb/s

Problem:

OneDrive keeps showing that it’s syncing at 0.0kb/s. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

Solution:

First thing I would look at is that you don’t have really large files. If you need large files, then maybe schedule the upload but not as part of a large batch of syncing. Also, MS doesn’t like more than 300k files.

The other thing I would look at is that the OneDrive client might be messed up:

  1. Press the Windows key + R.
  2. In the Run window, enter: %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset
  3. After 2 or 3 minutes OneDrive should start by itself, sometimes does not open.
  4. In the Run window, enter: %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe
