On one specific machine, Outlook crashes when clicking on pretty much anything. Lots of uninstall\/reinstalls later:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Dynamics CRM 2011: Troubleshoot Outlook Crashes<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>If you experience Outlook crashes with the CRM Client for Outlook installed and using Internet Explorer 9, please perform the following steps:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Update the Dynamics CRM for Outlook Client to Update Rollup 11 from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-gb\/download\/details.aspx?id=34969\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\">* MIT Update &#8211; As of publishing, the current rollup is 13 available <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-ca\/download\/details.aspx?id=37133\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">here<\/span><\/a> (also when loading Outlook for the first time after installing the rollup, have patience, it takes a while)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Disable the Microsoft Outlook Social Connector Add-in from COM Add-Ins in Outlook<\/p>\n<p>Add the following registry entry on the Outlook Client:<\/p>\n<p>Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then press ENTER.<\/p>\n<p>Locate and then click on the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Internet Explorer\\MAIN\\FeatureControl<\/p>\n<p>On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click Key.<\/p>\n<p>Type FEATURE_USE_LEGACY_JSCRIPT, and then press ENTER.<\/p>\n<p>Right-click FEATURE_USE_LEGACY_JSCRIPT, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.<\/p>\n<p>Type outlook.exe, and then press ENTER.<\/p>\n<p>Right-click outlook.exe, and then click Modify.<\/p>\n<p>In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.<\/p>\n<p>Exit Registry Editor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>http:\/\/blogs.msdn.com\/b\/emeadcrmsupport\/archive\/2012\/11\/14\/dynamics-crm-2011-troubleshoot-outlook-crashes.aspx<\/p>\n<p>h\/t dannyf2<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It worked for a while and the problem happened again.
