{"id":528,"date":"2023-09-05T14:24:21","date_gmt":"2023-09-05T14:24:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.torontohelpdesk.ca\/blog\/?p=528"},"modified":"2023-09-05T14:25:15","modified_gmt":"2023-09-05T14:25:15","slug":"sharepoint-list-of-all-permissions-on-site","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.torontohelpdesk.ca\/blog\/sharepoint-list-of-all-permissions-on-site\/","title":{"rendered":"Sharepoint &#8211; List of all Permissions on Site"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Problem:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Client wants a list of all permissions on a site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Solution:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This one was fun<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create a folder on your machine called Scripts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reference this site: https:\/\/www.sharepointdiary.com\/2019\/09\/sharepoint-online-user-permissions-audit-report-using-pnp-powershell.html<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save file to Scripts folder with the extension .ps1\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Important, you have to edit the file so that it references the correct SharePoint site and save location for the output<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Run Powershell ISE in Admin mode (this is important as it won&#8217;t work otherwise<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Run Install-Module -Name PnP.PowerShell -RequiredVersion 1.12.0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to Scripts folder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Run .\\FILENAME.PS1<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Problem: Client wants a list of all permissions on a site.
