Setting up an external email warning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solution:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google makes this process a lot more complicated than Office 365<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go into Gsuite console<\/li>
  2. Go to Apps > G Suite > Settings for Gmail > Content Compliance<\/li>
  3. Email messages to affect
    1. Inbound<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
    2. Add expressions that describe the content
      1. if ANY of the following match the message<\/li>
      2. Click Add > Advanced content match
        1. Location: Subject<\/li>
        2. Not Contains Text: [EXT]<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
        3. Click Add > Advanced content match
          1. Location: Full headers<\/li>
          2. Contains text:
            1. First field: Ext<\/li>
            2. Second field: External<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol><\/li>
            3. If the above expressions match, do the following
              1. Modify message<\/li>
              2. Select: Add custom headers<\/li>
              3. Click Add
                1. First field: EXT<\/li>
                2. Second field: External<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
                3. Prepend custom subject
                  1. [EXT]<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol><\/li>
                  2. Scroll to the bottom and click on show options<\/strong><\/li>
                  3. Under Account types to affect, make sure Users and Groups are selected<\/li>
                  4. Save<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
