Problem:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You have a lot of different users that access different folders in SharePoint and you want to organize them via groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solution:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The problem is, you need to create groups within SharePoint, not the regular Admin Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating a group:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open up SharePoint Site<\/li>
  2. Go into Docs<\/li>
  3. Click on the cog in the upper right<\/li>
  4. Click on Site permissions<\/li>
  5. Advanced permissions setting<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Setting up permissions:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Make sure you’re in Classic Experience<\/li>
    2. Drill down to the necessary folder<\/li>
    3. Click on Share<\/li>
    4. Click on Shared With<\/li>
    5. Click on Advanced<\/li>
    6. Click on Stop Inheriting Permissions<\/li>
