Problem:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Client gets blacklisted every time they do a mail merge and send out more than x amount of emails at time.<\/p>\n

Solution<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Creating a new throttling policy for a single user:<\/em><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. New-ThrottlingPolicy -Name LimitMessagesSent -RecipientRateLimit 30 -MessageRateLimit 1<\/span>\n
      \n
    1. LimitMessagesSent – limits the number of recipients that a user can send in 24 hours<\/li>\n
    2. MessageRateLimit – the total amount of emails sent out per minute<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Creating a new throttling policy for the entire organization:<\/em><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. New-ThrottlingPolicy -Name LimitMessagesSent -RecipientRateLimit 30 -MessageRateLimit 1 <\/span><\/span>-ThrottlingPolicyScope Organization\n
          \n
        1. LimitMessagesSent – limits the number of recipients that a user can send in 24 hours<\/li>\n
