The Sound Card is an embedded Realtek on a Lenovo. He wants to listen to the headset or speakers depending on need. The Lenovo HD Audio Manager does not allow you to mute the speakers when the headset is being used.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Solution:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Well, it&#8217;s the best I can do:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Make sure that both the speaker and the headset are plugged into the Y connector<\/li>\n<li>Load up the Lenovo HD Audio Manager<\/li>\n<li>Click Advanced<\/li>\n<li>Speaker Configuration &gt; Stereo<\/li>\n<li>Full-range Speakers &gt; unchecked<\/li>\n<li>Sound Effects &gt; Equalizer &gt; Classical<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Problem: Client has a headset and speakers.
